Hotbabes Uncovered 2 for real!

Hotbabes known as the most controversial sexy girls group here in the Philippines is going "Uncovered" for real this second time. The famous Hotbabes was getting popularity a few years ago from their songs "Bulakak", "Basketball", "Kikay", at "Batuta ng Pulis" which was all written by novelty song composer Lito Camo. The group members were originally Maui Taylor, Katya Santos, Andrea del Rosario, Jen Rosendahl, Gwen Garci, Myles Hernandez, Kristine Jaca, Hazel Cabrera and Sheree. There has been some issues between members and special arrangements that force the group to look for new members.

The group has retain some of its sexy members and added a few ones. Hotbabes Uncovered 2 will be featuring Gwen Garci, Jennifer Lee, Jaycee Parker, Hazel Cabrera, Carla Samonte, Sachi Sanders and Zara Lopez.

On June 6, 2008 Friday at 9:00pm you'll meet their new members and see them live and uncovered in Metro Bar. Ticket price is PhP 500.00 through metrobar.com.ph or Ticketnet Online.

Metrobar presents Power of J ( OJ Mariano & Rico J. Puno)

rico j punoOJ MarianoIf you heard of wonderful songs like "Sana’y Malaman Mo" and "Di Ka Na Akin" you'd probably remember it was played on the radio or on in a lounge scene. Just as you like these songs, OJ Mariano will team up with Rico J. Puno at the Metrobar this Thursday at 8:00pm ( June 5, 2008).

OJ Mariano was seen on a singing contest back some years ago but that hasn't stop him from singing. Eventually, his passion for music soars as he is launching his second album "Ballads" . OJ Mariano's new album is released under Star Records.

On the other hand, you can't go wrong when Enrico de Jesus Puno or known as "Rico J" performs on stage. There's no denial that his "Love Won't Let me Wait," and "The Way We Were, " were truly classics that captures the Filipino's hearts. With all of Rico J's hit songs such as "Macho Guwapito," "Lupa," "Damdamin," "Kapalaran," "Ang Tao'y Marupok," "Buhat," "May Bukas Pa," and his great duet with Elsa Chan, "Magkasuyo Buong Gabi" are truly the best OPMs. Now, if I'm not mistaken Rico J will sing some of his new good songs and that for you to find out.

Along with this event, Rufa Mae Quinto and Nina are expected to perform.

Set and price is PhP 2,000.00 for VIP (Reserved Seating) and PhP 1,000.00 for Patron (Free Seating) .

World Pyro Olympics III (2008)

World Pyro Olympics III (2008)World Pyro Olympics III (2008)

There will be last show of World Pyro Olympics III (2008) at the THE ESPLANADE (BEHIND SM MALL OF ASIA) tonight ( May 31, 2008. Saturday at 6:00pm). This is truly magnificent event that will last for about 2hrs. The General Admission (Free Seating) is PhP 150.00, VIP (With Dinner) (Free Seating) is PhP 1,500.00, Special Viewing (No Dinner) (Free Seating) is PhP 1,000.00 and the Lounge Area (Free Seating) is PhP 350.00.

Again, me and my buddies will be watching this World Pyro Olympics III (2008) event tonight at the Mall of Asia. I hope to see you there! lol

World Pyro Olympics III-2008 at Mall Of Asia

Oh, we were already planning to watch this World Pyro Olympics III-2008 (The Greatest Show in the World) live in The Esplanade, Bay City, Pasay or commonly known as Mall Of Asia a few days before the event.

It was my first time to experience the said event and I can't believed in my very own eyes that the crowd would almost fill the whole wide open area. Just in the mall, we already experienced a little stampede in the public. The ticket costs PhP 150.00 and it would also cost you to fall in line (I'd rather say, fall in the crowd!) lol

Looking for a restaurant / bar where we can order something to eat and drink while watching the great show has taken so much of our time. Every booth was occupied and there are so many reservations. The only choice we have is to buy a hotdog sandwich and stand along bay side. Jeez, the sandwich can't suffice the most awaited Pyro Olympics!

Nevertheless, let me share to you the photos and videos of everything that happened in World Pyro Olympics. Please understand the picture quality. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! If I had only my SLR camera, this would definitely be the best pictures ever.

I think you just get pissed when you see the video shaking all over. It's just because my arms don't suit to be a tripod. Who knows, you might enjoy as well with a couple of minutes video of World Pyro Olympics III. Here is the fireworks video:

We're so hopeless that we still can't find a decent place to hangout. After a 15 minute fireworks display, there has been an exhibition dance held in the front bay. We worry no more the whole crowd. We set our butts on and watched the dance exhibition show.

You've probably wanted to see them live. I know, I know... you guys just can't deny it. Here's the video capture of their actual dance.

exhibition dance, moa

After that long staring event, we ended up walking to Pier One bar and restaurant. The bar didn't welcome us so well, again due to the World Pyro Olympics it can only accommodate the few who have reservations and first to come. On the way to the other side, we were still fooling around to the guy we've heard during the fireworks display. He was really enjoying the show at he's voice sounds so weird saying, "WaW...." (do it like a voice of a special child!).

video
WaW!....

Alas! We set foot in Padis Point (MOA). Good thing we knew, there is a great band playing inside. The circular lighthouse-design of the bar projects a mutual effect and the lights are perfect. The bar actually really looks better compared to other resto-bars in the same area. The food is good but the service is poor. The music is also good. Several genres has been playing in Padis Point resto-bar. There were love songs, rock and the best hip-hop tunes. The place is heating up and we took a plunged!

Here are our towering beerpics in Padis Point:

In the middle of our hangout, my friend Paul called me up on the phone and he wanted to come in Mall of Asia. I let him in the bar and he seem to be the perfect guy with perfect clothes. (Hanep ang suot mo tol). If i was in a good attire like yours, I think, it would all be just fairly the same. haha

A few minutes passed, I am very eager to talk to the two beautiful & lovely ladies beside me. Sorry girls, I couldn't take myself being a snob. hehe From there, I was able to talked with May & Monica. They're really fine ladies and easy to mingle. I really appreciate their openness to my group.

Rhea was begging to dance every time the music goes hip-hop and remix. Well, I can let her down and it was like every body wants to dance in the dance floor. We really get off on our chair and do some weird dancing (the funny part: I was wearing shorts and my dance was a disaster). Sorry, I don't have a video for that to offer. :P

Finally, everything was great! There will be a final showdown of World Pyro Olympics III-2008 at Mall Of Asia on May 31. I hope to have more fun again. :)

Learning To Be On A Team, Party Later!

My knees are shaking, my voice is downbeat and my thinking is way too short. I just can't rationalize and even generalize the points in the book.

Last Friday, I was really unprepared to explain to the team about the meaning of "Law of Niche", the third law in John Maxwell's "The 17 Indisputable Laws of Teamwork: Embrace Them and Empower Your Team". I was surely lack of sleep the night before I went to office. I had several projects to get done and got home late. Here's a proof of having less sleep:

Parang adik pero pogi parin kahit paano. lol

I never had a chance to prepare for my discussion regarding the Law of Niche. I had no choice but to come to office and shoot my luck. After lunch break, I was a little surprise that my pen keeps on taking notes of important points regarding the topic in the book. Thank God, my ideas keep on flowing that even failed me to go out with my group (a usual tambay at the Ministop after lunch) during that moment.

I thought the teamwork discussion wouldn't be made possible because of Reggie's teaching regarding the ASP Net Progamming 101 took so much time. However, our senior insisted there is still time for me to discuss the book.

The 17 Indisputable Laws of Teamwork: Embrace Them and Empower Your TeamThe 17 Indisputable Laws of Teamwork: Embrace Them and Empower Your Team
The Law Of Niche
Which means all players have a place where they add the most value.
-John Maxwell.

John Maxwell gives five dynamic changes in a team:
Wrong person in the wrong place = Regression
Wrong person in the right place = Frustration
Right person in the wrong place = Confusion
Right person in the right place = Progression
Right people in the right place = Multiplication

He also suggested that in order to put people in their place (Team Leader):
1. You must know the team (vision, purpose of organization).
2. You must know the situation (level of talent, matching the person).
3. You must know the player (evaluate experience, skills, attitude, passion, skills, potential).

The book gives ways on how to find your niche. In order to find it follow these:
1. Be secure.
2. Get to know yourself.
3. Trust your leader.
3. See the Big picture.
4. Rely on your experience.

Lastly, John Maxwell suggested to become a better team member, you must have research and planning when you are in a team of such organization.

That's how I discussed the Law of Niche.

I think I did good in front of my team members but not of my best yet so far. I think I can do better in my work and in my career, just a little more time. I think I am just saying these because I have to party harder, later!

Sad to say, Mark was evicted from The Big Brother's House last week. But that would not stop us from going out every once in a while. And we all smelling beer all the way to the old place, The Big Grill. We invited Vic to go with us. Here are the snapshots in the bar:

In the middle of something, I had the chance to get to know a very hot chick just in front of our table. Unfortunately, she wasn't interested. Also, she was with her friends and they were about to leave the bar. I guess, we're not destined to become friends. haha

The Banana Leaf Dinner at Greenbelt 3

I was going to blog this supposedly before my previous postings. So, this is a delayed post because of hectic schedules and some priorities. Anyway, here's the table setting and dine with me:

First week of May was truly wonderful. I met my very good friend, Ava at Glorietta and we were looking for a nice place to dine. She's very picky when it comes to foods. I'm always trying to anticipate her mind so that everything works perfect but it's not always been an easy task. haha One thing I can not forget when we're ordering is her choice of drink, simply a bottled water.

The evening is relaxing. It's an odd that night. Restaurants and bars didn't played loud music. We're talking about so many things while walking up to the second level of Greenbelt and I was imagining a melodious nocturnal song. I can't figure out why. Then, a few meters away, there was an interesting wooden x-board ad placed outside the glass door of the restaurant. I read it and the menus are great! I said to Ava, "Would you like to dine in this place? I thought you might like curry...". Actually, I was the one who likes curry. :)

Banana Leaf Curry House serves the best foods in town. I heard it is one of the best Asian cuisine here in the Philippines. It has been an outstanding restaurant from 2004 to 2007 awarded by the Philippine Tatler. There are wide tables inside and outside intended for groups. Banana Leaf has the same area with the neighboring restaurants and bars but the table settings, the ceiling and interior decorations provide a more spacious appearance. It serves Hainanese Chicken, Sop Laksa, Samsosa, Chicken in Pandan Leaves, Malaysian Ox-tail Soup, Prawn Sashimi, Samosa, Chili Stir Fried Crab, Malayan Curry Prawns, Nasi Goreng, Penang Char Kway, etc.

I ordered Malayan Chicken Curry with Potatoes, my friend Ava has chosen Barbecue Roasted Whole Baby Back Ribs and Penang Fried Rice with Salted Fish and Chicken was our choice.

Me and Ava enjoyed the foods and I was so full. We took the time to talk about so many things until our stomach was able to manage the foods in places. Here's our good picture taken by one of the sweet waitress in the restaurant:

If you would like to dine in the Banana Leaf Curry House, the address is in 2nd Floor Greenbelt 3, Ayala Center, Makati City, Metro Manila. For reservations and inquiries you may contact through this number, (02) 812-8618. Banana Leaf serves and offers a wide variety off foods like seafoods, meat, vegetables, noodles, soups, mixed rice, salad appetizers, Roti and Specialty Breads and great pandan drinks. For a complete list of their menu, visit Banana Leaf at Munchpunch.com.

Catholic Joke: Know Your Apple

apples & chocolate
Here is the scene: The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Church elementary school for lunch.

At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and put it on the apple tray...

'Take only ONE. God is watching.'

Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.

A child had written a note, 'Take all you want. God is watching the apples.'

Mr. MVP Kobe Bryant leads Lakers to win the Game 1

Mr. MVP Kobe Bryant leads LA Lakers to win against San Antonio Spurs from 20-point second-half deficit game. I was chilling out after the big lead of points made by Spurs a moment ago. But the third quarter and last quarter was very frustrating for my team. Spurs only made 13 points in the last quarter and 24 points from Lakers. Bryant scored 27 points after halftime, from his go-ahead, 10-foot jumper in the lane with a few seconds remaining.

Mr. MVP Kobe Bryant leads LA LakersWhat Bryant did was truly remarkable that leads the Lakers and rallied from a 20-point deficit to beat the Spurs 89-85 (Game 1).

Top 10 Most Valuable Movies to Watch this May!

Most of the time, we spend a couple of money just to see how the story goes in a movie. Sometimes those movies didn't meet our expectations. Too bad, writers are always trying to create unique stories and directors / producers create movies in such a way that at least there are couple of new things going on if it's a remake movie. Extraordinary weekend at Sun City, Laguna

Did you ever plan of doing something different in the weekend? Did anything came across to your mind like saying, "How is it going to be when I've got whatever I want this Saturday"? Or have you experienced anything that is quite remarkable? For me and my friends, I (we) did something extraordinary just this Friday and Saturday. We have hot-drenched ourselves into Sun City resort. Let me share to you some of our memorable moments and photos as you read along.

Friday was a bit of rush. People from different walks of life were eager to get on the bus just to go home early for their family. The bus was overloaded with passengers and our travel was a little late due traffic. Typically, the travel time from Makati to Alabang would be less than an hour. As we arrived in Alabang, we were waiting for Mark to come along with us. Hey! Cat and mouse, it's raining outside. So we stand by the overpass till Mark arrived.

flyover in Alabang mall(Reggieboy, lala, rhea) flyover photo

Another minutes passed but still our man of the hour haven't arrived yet. It's cold and raining however, my fingers can't resist to take a shot below. So here's what I've got:

busy streets of alabang at nightbusy streets of Alabang at night

We immediately ride on the bus going to Laguna when Mark has arrived. Heavy rain falls by drops along the way and up till we got in the Sun City resort. The experience was amazing! Imagine, five of us were partly wet and for that we badly need a room. The resort was almost fully booked yet there is one family room available for us, but for my friends the price is just an issue. Furthermore, a 12-hours-stay policy of the resort is enough to enjoy this weekend.

Sun City resort located in Pansol, Calamba City Laguna along National Highway

Entrance & swimming and room rates are affordable. I suggest you come along with a friend who has a discount card to save 10% discount for room and entrance & swimming. They are open 24 hrs so you can come anytime you want.

self-timer capture in the roomA self-timer capture in the room

Yeah, the camera lens is of low quality but this is quite good shot, isn't it? I was pissed a little by the resort's alcoholic beverages policy. They will only allow anyone to drink till 10:00 pm. The rest of the night is not permitted. The good thing is that they don't care what you do inside the room. (*hek!hek!hek!) So, we fooled around, turned the music on loud, and talked till the bottles are down.

Four GwapingsThe two guys are obviously minors (below 16) and both girls are matured women. They're so cute anyways! lol

That same night, we drenched ourselves into the hot pools. The steamy water in the pool makes my body relaxed and perfect for that very cold night. I think there was a reunion of so called, "naturally-men-before and artificially-women-now". Sexy gays are everywhere in the pool. The good thing is they can't see cute guys in the dark (they're somewhat busy with topless fashion show). haha

In the morning, I took some pictures of the pool in Sun City before going home. Here are some of the good photos from the resort.

Teslar watch prevents headache and stress!

teslar watches Philip SteinYou've heard it right! Teslar watches are made to shield your body from Migraine headaches, Depression, Arthritis, Anxiety and many more...

Electric fields have increased substantially in the last 20 years due to cell phones, computers, fluorescent lighting, etc. Research shows this negatively impacts our immune system. Therefore, Teslar chip is exclusively built into some watches to protect us from these harmful electromagnetic fields. You can experience more energy, less stress, and reduced exhaustion after long trips if you were wearing a teslar watch.

Teslar watches contain a tiny magnetic chip that imitates the Earth's natural magnetic field frequency. The magnetic field of the human brain and the Earth's normal magnetic beat are said to be similar. When something accelerates or slows the brain's normal magnetic beat, it can dramatically affect the body, making us excited or drowsy. While studying magnetic fields, Dr. Andrija Puharich wondered what would happen if we imitated the natural frequency of the Earth, even if it was very weak, and placed it near the body. The result was the Teslar device, a very small magnetic generator named after Dr. Nikola Tesla, a renowned researcher in the field of electromagnetism. Dr. Puharich decided to make a generator out of a regular watch that would have enough space behind the clocking mechanism to insert a chip. The Teslar watch converts the battery and clocking mechanism into a magnetic frequency that resembles that of the Earth' s natural field. It is much weaker than the Earth' s field, but because it touches the skin, its effects are carried in the bloodstream to the rest of the body. One of the biggest benefits of the Teslar watch is that it can counter the effects of these harmful electric fields caused by TVs, refrigerators, microwaves, hair dryers, and high voltage lines. The Vatican recently licensed the Teslar watch. "It puts the wearer in the Shumann Resonance, emanating 7.83 Hz, the same frequency of prayer, peace and healing. By simply wearing one of these beautiful watches, the energy of prayer is created. Imagine, the peace and serenity that comes from prayer or meditation, can now be yours anytime, anywhere. These watches have a tiny chip that mimics the frequency that resonates in the Earth’s atmosphere... the Schumann Resonance, emanating 7.83 Hz, the same frequency of prayer, peace and healing. The pulse of today’s hectic world along with electro-magnetic pollution from everything from cars, to cellphones to microwaves, disrupt the earth’s natural resonance causing irritability and malaise in many people. By wearing the TESLAR watch, this energy is restored giving the wearer a renewed sense of well-being. The watch is named in honor of Nikola Tesla, a truly gifted researcher of electro-magnetics and quantum physics. The Problem Scientific studies have shown people working and living around electricity develop cancer faster than non-electrical workers. Cellular phones are suspected of providing a frequency environment supporting the growth of brain tumors. The Solution designed by a medical doctor, the TESLAR with a scalar field generator pulsed to oscillate between 7 Hz and 9 Hz (alpha brain waves), by a Mobius Loop shields the wearer against harmful effects of electricity produced by appliances and all ambient frequencies. Wearing the TESLAR lets you go into any EMF-rich environment without incurring the harmful side effects of electricity such as migraines, eye strain, arthritic and joint pain, tiredness, PMS, emotional highs and lows, general uneasiness and malaise. Studies in England and the United States show that that the cell structures in the Teslar field can reduce the effect of electromagnetic fields and increase immunity by 76%. Pain and illness sufferers report a significant improvement in athletic strength and performance by about 10%. All watches are water resistant with stainless steel back. "I travel through numerous time zones. Since using my TESLAR, I’ve had no serious problems with jet lag."

San Antonio Spurs tied-up (3-3) with New Orleans Hornets (Game 6)

Yes, for the Big Spurs! The playoff series is now tied and up for game 7. Just a moment ago, I was fetching information via Yahoo sports live scoreboard and I was a bit surprised that my team, San Antonio Spurs wins and leading the score of 19 points.

Spurs made a great play in the first half and ended it with 36 points, whereas 24 points was made by Hornets. The second half was a bit crucial for the Spurs that the Hornets taken over the game and made 27 points. Spurs were down by 5 points. The third and final quarter were consistent plays for Spurs that they made a great momentum throughout the game. The final score was 80-99 which lead the Spurs into game 7 with New Orleans Hornets. Tim Duncan has made 20 Pts, 15 Reb, 6 Ast Duncan 20 pts, 15 Reb, and 6 AST while C. Paul has made 21 Pts, 6 Reb, 8 Ast Pablo 21 pts, 6 Reb, and 8 AST .

Now that the game is tied-up, Spurs still has one more game to win. Since the playoffs started, Spurs has never won any game on the road. Will they won the last game and made it into the finals?

10 Simple Ways to Treat Your Mom on Mother's Day!

I personally define "mother" as a person who gives inspiration, a laborer and necessity to her children. I remember the card I did for my mom back in elementary. It's funny to know that I did it because our teacher was instructing us to make one for our mom. On the next day, an assignment was given to us - to make a poem presentation for mother's day in our class. That night I realized how difficult it is to describe how my mother brought me into this world. And therefore, mothers should be treated well!

I have the list of ways to treat your mom during this Mother's Day celebration. Try it for yourself.

10 Simple Ways to Treat Your Mom on Mother's Day!

A simple phone callphoto by: i b u

1. A simple phone call. Yes, just simple as one or two minute phone call to your mom would means a lot to her. We all know, we Filipinos are fond of texting and it has become a part of our daily routine to txt our friends, our love ones and even our offices accept texting as a means of communication. A phone call to mom or any mother whom you know is most likely a big value to them. So, try calling your mom if you are living away from her. Express how you feel and tell her how important she is in your life.

Chat Onlinephoto by: redactie ikvader.nl

2. Chat Online. Another simple way to get in touch to your mom if you are in a distant situation is by chatting her online. This one is most likely applicable if your mom is a "techie". Even my mom isn't good in computer thing still I did get one line of message from her last night through chat. She was very amused in typing the keyboard as my sister told me.

Food Tripphoto by: Sushibyrd

3. Food Trip. I agree, almost all mothers know how to cook, at least, a special fried eggs in the morning or a sandwich with mayonnaise in it. Even if your mom is the best cook in your hometown, the best menu picker, the best taster and obnoxious when it comes to food still she deserves to be treated in a fine restaurant where she has never went before. This could be a restaurant where they prepare seafoods or meat depending on what your mother likes to eat. You should know her food preferences well.

Another good suggestion is to prepare foods in the table by yourself. Now, this would mean a lot to her. It's payback time, I'd say. The more foods you prepare for her, the better. You must have a good taste when it come to this one. If you are not a good cook like her, better order good foods and eat with her. That also counts.

beach resortphoto by: EPGadin

4. Treat her in the beach resort. Everyone must relaxed from time to time and so your mom too! Come to think of it, for all her life she's just all around the house fixing everything in your room, washing your clothes, preparing foods, doing the household chores and even thinking of ways in order to get some extra cash to help your dad in supplying the family's needs.

Isn't it great if you can take her to a beach resort so she can loosen up? You may bring all the family as you want to make it more merrier. Don't forget to bring cameras with you and try to get more candid shot every time she swoops into the water.

Spa and Massage Treatmentphoto by: Kieron

5. Spa and Massage Treatment. Another way to treat your mother is by taking her into the best massage therapy or spa. Medical research shows that the benefits of massage include pain relief, reduced trait anxiety and depression, and temporarily reduced blood pressure, heart rate, and state anxiety. Massage can be applied with the hands, fingers, elbows, forearm, and feet which will make her important body parts reinvigorated. While spa is associated with water treatment, most likely, it is fall under massage treatment. It can be Manicure/Pedicure/Foot Spa/Hair and Skin Care. If you think your mom should take one of these treatment, then it's good for you too as it only take a few Php/($) from your pocket.

Fashion & Clothing Makeoverphoto by: winged photography

6. Fashion & Clothing Makeover. If you've been seeing that old silk pajamas to your mom every morning, her old ragged slippers, her 3 times a week wash-and-wear uniform, her 1990's lipstick and makeups, her old Zoen undergarments and Avon bras, and her perfume remembrance from your father then this time, I may suggest you must buy her new ones and make sure you knew her sizes and favorite colors. Something different is always impressive even if it is a small thing. If you have much money try buying her new jeans and blouses, underwear and bra, lipstick and make-ups of top quality brand. Maybe one Havaianas flipflops can be impressive.

7. Picnic at the Park & Rides. This one works well if you have siblings or small children staying at your parents. Family bonding is very important and in fact your mother will truly appreciate the picnic at the park or treating her with the family members for different rides at a theme park. You have a lot of time to talk about while having a walk or a picnic at the eco park. On the other hand, she will be glad to know you too care for the family and you bring happiness to your little siblings.

Movie and Grocery Shoppingphoto by: Andrew Caird

8. Movie and Grocery Shopping. Treating your mom into a movie theater and let her shop in the grocery stores and you take care of the bills during this mother's day are very common things but it is a very good combination. Most mothers have a hard time to budget the grocery needs. Help her ease out that problem for once and watch a good movie after shopping at the grocery.

mother's day cardphoto by: yourclassicgirl

9. Flowers and Card. Show your appreciation and love to your mother by giving her a bunch of flowers with a note. Let her know how special she is to you and that you have nothing to ask anyone to be your mom but her. You may write on the card the things you like about your mom and the times you felt everyone was turning away from you but still, she's there at your back. Tell her everything you were working for and where you are right now is because of her.

mom kiss & hugphoto by: aaronjr123

10. Give Her A Kiss and A Hug. The most special for all of the aboves choices is maybe as simple as giving a hug and a kiss and greeting your mom a happy mother's day. This doesn't require you to spend a lot of money and doesn't require you to prepare a lot of time either. This will only requires your sincerity and love. I would definitely say, this is the most wonderful gift you can ever give to your mom.

How would you treat your mom on Mother's Day? If you have more simple tips for Mother's Day that wasn't mention here, let me know.

Wall Climbing on Sandugo Wall at Market! Market! (First Time!)

Who says only lizards, ants and spiders can climb walls? I can climb too! haha As a matter of fact, I was in a little messy going down from the top and free falling...

Early this day, I still had a slight hang-over from last night's hangout with co-employees at the Big Grill and with a set of new friends through Fretz (this was on another place). Add it up, the dizziness and sleepiness feeling but those weren't a hindrance to me having to climb the wall this Saturday. So I did stretched up myself and got a good exercise for an exciting climb on the thick multiplex board later.

I was pretty excited! :)

Indoor Wall climbing @ Sandugo, Market-MarketThat Indoor Wall climbing @ Sandugo, Market-Market has been luring me ever since my big fat stomach developed. The real thing is that wall climbing develops the upper body, knees and feet muscles. The Sandugo Walls is located at the level 5 of Market! Market!, Global City Fort Bonifacio, Taguig. It consists of six different rock-textured walls.

The left side of the wall are two easy way up but it seems to me that the artificially constructed modular hand holds are becoming smaller. I did some little observations before taking my hands and feet up to it.

Sandugo Wall at the leftActually, there were two girls (probably at my own age) comes first and ready to go. The other one took the left wall and the next one took just the other side of the left wall (the one I climb with too). It seems pretty easy for them and they've reached the top at about 15 mins only. That is quite tough!

Sandugo Wall at centerStill, I'm not getting a good determination to go that high until I see the old folks at right doing well. So, I guess I have no choice but to try it. After all, exercise has to be fun and exciting! With a Php 50.00 fee for one time climb, you've got nothing to loose. A fee of Php 140.00 if you go an unlimited climb and an extra fee of Php 200.00 for the belayer (trainor or the person in charge to your rope). Shoes are inclusive, so, you have nothing to worry about the gears.

My first grip was pretty cool and I enjoyed the feeling. I can feel my upper body reflexes every time I reach. Both of my fingers are gripping well on those modular hand holds. I can't believe I am actually climbing at that moment and it's obviously a great feeling!

wall climbing at first one minute(camera sucks! it didn't even get close up my head... *sigh)

On the middle of the wall, my hands are tighten up and my feet are moving slowly. I felt that I was being tossed upwards but I resist due to gravity. I thought this path is fine but then again reaching the top has been a difficult task. Modular hand tools are becoming smaller, thinner and fewer. If I had only regular pull-up exercises that wouldn't have to be hard, at least.

wall climbing almost at the top(how I'd wish the photographer took when I'm on top - almost)

Yeah! Whooooooh! That's what I felt on the moment I reached the top of the basic wall. It's like all of my worries, my super stressed weekdays and my daily routine sticked on that wall. My arms gave out and feet can't move any longer, so I repel (free falling) with the aid of belayer. Damn, my muscles in the upper and lower shoulders were packed closely together after that 15 minutes climb.

repel from the top(I'm no professional wall climber so better keep your eyes off me! hehe)

Over all, it was a great experience of climbing the wall from bottom to top. Yay! Too many people on the ground and all are eyes on me. Nevertheless, who cares? I was on high! haha...

I'm planning to go back and climb again next weekend or so with my friend(s) depending on their availability.

Random Gazing

When stars in the sky are present and twinkling all night-long, I admit, I do random star gazing during my childhood. The reason why it happens back then all the time is because I think too many things. Usually those things were random questions that just keep on popping in my mind. Like "Am I going to have a lot of friends"?, "What kind of friends do I get to know next year"?, "Can they be best buddies"? and "I'm sure I will have another best friend, won't I"? Sometimes, there were things I thought like what's the feeling of having a special someone. Yes, I have that kind of thinking. How about you?

I always have a friend. It's just that I can't keep some of them for life for sometimes they come and go. When my girlfriend and I broke up last 4 years ago, I tried to get over it by making friends at work and some friends I get to know through my best interest. Even if I have so much friends and has an average job, I still lack of something-significant other. Yeah, I may be a lousy type of person when it comes to courting but I do have good eyes.

Nevertheless, eyes, eyes, eyes...like bedroom eyes, dilating and random gazing! My heart's pumping and breath-taking a little slower are effects of wonderful and lovely eyes. One who beholds such eyes turns me on. They're like stars at night that I can randomly gaze. The more I look at it, the more I came to realize how things will work out sooner or later. Am I still perplexing here?

Well, I meet my special friend (let's keep her name in secret) last Saturday after her meeting with their main branch. Woo oh! Did I said, her? Ah, yes she's a lovely lady. I invited her for a dinner and we had a wonderful talk in the restaurant that all I can do is gaze and gaze into her eyes all over again. Every time she smiles, I got carried away and every time I looked into her eyes, again, my heart is pumping and slowly breath-taking. You may be curious if she's my significant other or not? Unfortunately, or, I may say she's seeing me as NOT her boyfriend in the future. Yeah, right. I am so unfortunate to that other side of love, indeed! But I have her as a friend and I can keep her forever. I think and feel that its better that way. This could be a long post if I give all the details behind that story. :)

afro-brazilian weekend at greenbeltSo, after that hours of talk we ended up watching the heart of Greenbelt 3 from its over-looking balcony at Level 3. The scene played its part where you can truly appreciate the cozy evening. From there everything has been meaningful.

To add a little savor to this post, during that evening, an Afro-Brazilian Weekends Night played on the small center stage at the level two while we somehow get to hear their music on a short while.

De Lara Grand Launch at Eastwood City, Libis

DE lara - eastwood libis grand launchHave you heard about, Mojofly-the band that offers a more radio-friendly and pop-leaning alternative music to Filipinos? They have actually a new name, De Lara. I think the band members are still intact and somehow just a little changes in their music style.

This Friday night, my friend and I went to a graduation party of his cousin in Muñoz, Quezon City. From there, all we could think about was escaping from a game initiated by the celebrant. So, we decided to leave after a few moments when our stomach was full. It was a blessed getaway though. haha

Although we've not seen Greenbelt on its Friday night live, still Eastwood City, Libis was at the highest priority in our pocket. There we heard a good music. I was instantly amazed with the guitar riffs, the smooth drums and the fine vocals when we're out from the taxi. I said to my friend, "Dude that voice sounds familiar. It's like a band I've known for years." So, we go and checked out that interesting music coming from the heart of Eastwood. And seeing them in front of us, was truly surprising. The formerly Mojofly is now called as De Lara. On that night was their grand launch. It is good to see these guys are back on the track and continue to play and share their music interest with us.
